Overview

Balthali village tour is a short and scenic tour around Kathmandu valley. Balthali village tour start with a short drive from Kathmandu to Changu Narayan and then walk passing through different pristine forest and variation of landscape. The small settlement of Balthali village (1,730m.) is upended on a plateau, just beyond Panauti above 40 Km away from Kathmandu. The village is situated at the junction of Roshi and Ladku rivers. Trek up to Balthali village’s passes through different beautiful and fascinating places like Nagarkot, Dhulikhel which gives a chance to view the natural beauty and mountain panorama.

Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Kathmandu (1350m). Upon your arrival we assist you from international airport to hotel. Rest overnight.

Day 2: Today early in the morning after breakfast we drive for 30min all the way to Changu Narayan 1500m). W visit the famous and ancient temple changunarayan also listed in world heritage sites. After a short visit and lunch we start to hike passing through the pine forest along the ridge through the villages with splendid view of the valley and mountains all the way to beautiful town of Nagarkot (2175m). Rest overnight.

Day 3: Today early in the morning we climb the famous tower of Nagarkot to see the fascinating scene of sunrise. We trek passing thorough beautiful pristine forest surrounded with fascinating mountain panorama all the way to Dhulikhel (1440m). Rest overnight.

Day 4: Today after breakfast we trek from Dhulikhel to Namobudha where we visit the famous and ancient temple all the way to Balthali village (1730m).  Rest overnight.

Day 5: Today we go for sightseeing around Balthali village to view fascinating panorama view and natural wilderness. We visit a classic Tamang village, Dada Gaun, where a Buddhist Community lives. It is very traditional and secluded from the modern world. Explore the natural beauty and experience the culture and lifestyle of Balthali village. Rest overnight.

Day 6: Today early in the mrning we walk from Balthali to the fascinating newer village of Panauti (1400m). Visit the beautiful village and then after lunch we drive back to Kathmandu. Rest overnight.

Day 7: Today early in the morning we go to visit the lively and exotic city of Nepal. We visit famous cultural and natural heritage sites. After lunch we assist you to airport for your final departure.
