Overview
Koshi tapu jungle safari is a famous destination for bridwatching and wild jungle activities. Established in 1976, this park is situated in Nepal’s western Terai. It covers 968 sq. km. The park offers a variety of experiences in its vast uninterrupted wilderness. The park is home to rare animals such as the Bengal tiger, wild elephant, One-horned rhinoceros, swamp deer, and black buck. Other endangered species include gharial crocodile, marsh mugger and Gangetic dolphin, 439 species of birds and several species of snakes can also be seen in the park. This is only wildlife reserve where you can see the last habitat of the endangered Arna (wild water buffalo).

Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to koshi tapu national park. We welcome you in traditional style. Today after lunch we go for Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and life style of the Tharus. Enjoy the fine evening dinner and rest overnight.
Day 2: Today early in the morning after breakfast we go for Elephant ride (for an hour), an excellent chance to get the lifetime experience on the elephant back and to see the wildlife of the Park. Visit to visitor Center, Crocodile Breeding Center and Tharu Cultural Museum. At evening enjoy the fascinating sunset view over famous Sapta Koshi River. Rest overnight.
Day 3: Today early in the morning we drink coffee with stunning sunrise view. Later we go for Bird Watching, An excellent opportunity to see a great many species of birds found in koshi tapu. Visit to koshi river dolphin site and see some of the gigantic and wild dolphins. After lunch we depart from koshi tapu all the way to Kathmandu.
