Overview
Chitwan jungle safari is one of the famous and best destination to experience the stunning beauty of entire natural wilderness and ethnic variation. One of the well fascinated National Park in the Nation with just 5 Hours Drive from Kathmandu and Pokhara valley. This national park is listed UNESCO world heritage natural site. The Bengal Tiger, One Horned Rhino and many other rare species are located here in the National park. Well accommodation facility both Lodge and Tented Camps are available. Elephant ride and many other excursion safaris are possible.
Chitwan is situated in Rapti valley in subtropical land of Terai. It is known as food basket of Nepal as well. It covers an area of 932 sq. km. The jagged Churia hills, Sal forests (70%), grassland and riverine forests, swamps and lakes provide excellent habitats 50 different species of large mammals. It is one of the few remaining habitat of Royal Bengal tiger and great one horned rhinoceros. Small herd of wild elephants are occasionally seen. As well as these high profile animals you may spot barking deer, spotted deer, sambar,hog deer, Indian wild oxen, marsh Mugger and Gharial crocodile and genetics Dolphins, many species monkeys…..etc. About 537 species of birds including, waterfowl - both migratory and residential. Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Chitwan national park. We welcome you in a traditional way with garland and flowers. After lunch we go for Village Tour and Visit Elephant Breeding Centre. At evening enjoy the Cultural Program (Tharu Stick Dance) with fine dinner. Rest overnight.
Day 2: Today early in the morning after breakfast we take you for Cannoning and visit elephant birthing center through Jungle Walk. Enjoy the view of Swimming and Elephant Bathing. After lunch we go for elephant safari to see some of the rare and extinct species. Enjoy the evening dinner and rest overnight.
Day 3: Today after breakfast we go for Bird Watching. Enjoy the attractive view. Today we experience various wild activities like swimming, jeep ride, boating etc. after lunch we depart from Chitwan national park to Kathmandu.
Mr. Mandip Gurung - River Guide
Mr. Mandip gurung a resident of chitwan-8 has been working as a post of river guide. He has started his career since 2010 till, he has been interested to learning rafting. He has completed successfully (WRT) white water rescue technician international. First aid training and river guide license from Nepal government.
Mr. Som Bahadur Chepang - River Guide
Mr. Som Chepang a resident of chitwan-8 has been working as a post of river guide. He has started his career since 2007.he has been interested to learning rafting. He has completed successfully (WRT) white water rescue technician international, first aid training and river guide license holder from Nepal government.
