Overview
Shivapuri hike is a pleasant hike that offers you the
fascination mountain view of central and eastern mountain range, also introduce
you to the ruler Nepalese lifestyle. Shivapuri situated at north of Kathmandu
at an elevation of 2563m is the second highest hill around Kathmandu valley. The
Shivapuri Hill is the one of the most important watershed area of the Kathmandu
valley and delivers most of the valley’s water needs.
Shivapuri hiking starts with a short 30min drive from
Kathmandu to Sundarijal and then trekking suitable path all the way up to
Shivapuri. Hikers will pass through a beautiful bamboo and oak forest and be
able to get wonderful views of the Langtang, Dories-Lakpa Himal and Ganesh
mountains. Shivapuri hiking is a short and steady hike loved by all the hikers
that gives you a chance to explore the stunning beauty of entire natural
wilderness and experience the culture and lifestyle of highlanders at remote
villages.

Itinerary
Day 1: Today early in the morning after breakfast we drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal and the hike up to Chisapani. Rest overnight.
Day 2: Today we trek from Chisapani passing through variety of rhododendron and oak forest along with fascinating mountain views all the way to Shivapuri.
Day 3: Today early in the morning we trek till budhanilkantha sacred and most religious temple around Kathmandu valley. From here we drive for 45min all the way back to Kathmandu. Rest overnight.
